This is really a good movie. The cast is all good, especially Jay B. as David. There is an interesting story with likable characters and original action scenes. The whole family will enjoy it, except maybe the younger kids. There are even some mops (and brooms) going crazy!

It seems that these days critics can't be happy with a movie unless its "art" or breaks convention. Sometimes a good old fashioned story is what you want. Yes this film didn't offer any surprises, but you know what, I don't care. It was fun, it was funny, it was well told. 64% of reviewers on the web thought this movie wasn't worth seeing. That just tells me that 64% of reviewers are pretentious snobs that can't just sit back and enjoy a light-hearted film. Go see this film, if you let yourself, you'll like it.

I took my 24y/o g/f and 9 y/o son on release day to see this movie. It was $7.50 for the two adults and $5 for my son. It was def worth every penny. It had action and kept you guessing. I was not disappointed at all. Nick Cage brought it in this movie. As some reviews I have read were not impressed with his performance and saying that the cast was less than worthy. I would have to disagree with that. If you can get past the fact that Nick is a good enough actor to play in any role and picture him just being his character then it is a great movie. Go into this with an open mind and you will love it. I can't wait for the next one.

I wouldn't recommend it to my 7 year old nephew, but a great teen movie!

This movie certainly won't warrant any awards this year. However if you are looking for a fun, exciting, and interesting flick this one will satisfy. Burachel plays his geeky self (no surprise there) Nick Cage is very amusing as Balthasar. The story isn't very invovled (You wont need to worry if you take a bathroom break), but completely enjoyable. The effects are on par with anything else this year. Basically if you liked the National Treasure flicks you will probably enjoy this film as well! Seemed good for kids as well the most gross thing is Molina's character's entrance as a huge pile of cockroaches. Not real violent and has a good "Believe in yourself" message. I wouild give it a 4 out of rating simply becuse it's not groundbraking or thought provoking, it's just a very entertaining movie!
